About WheelQuirk

WheelQuirk is a small collection of free spinning wheels and random pickers that work right in your browser.

What WheelQuirk is for

Some choices don’t deserve a long debate: who goes first, what’s for dinner, which student answers next. A spinning wheel settles them quickly, and everyone can see that the result wasn’t rigged. WheelQuirk exists to make that moment fast, fair and a little bit fun.

What we care about

  • The tool comes first. Every page opens with a working wheel. You don’t need an account, an app or an email address.
  • Honest randomness. Results come from your browser’s cryptographic random number generator, and the wheel always lands on the result it announces. We explain how it works on every tool page instead of making vague claims.
  • Your lists are yours. Entries, saved wheels and history are stored in your own browser. Share links carry the wheel inside the link rather than on our servers.
  • Usable by everyone. The wheel works with a keyboard and screen readers, respects reduced-motion settings, and has light and dark themes.
  • Fast on any connection. No heavy frameworks: the pages are plain HTML, CSS and a small amount of JavaScript.

What WheelQuirk isn’t

WheelQuirk is for entertainment, games, teaching and informal decisions. It isn’t a gambling service or a certified random number generator, and it shouldn’t be used for lotteries, regulated prize draws or decisions with legal or financial consequences.

Keeping it free

The tools are free to use. To cover hosting and development, the site may show advertising. Ads are kept well away from the wheel and its buttons, and the tools keep working if you block them.
